The short version

YouTube Educational Filter does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers involved.

What's stored

Your filter settings — allowed channels, blocked topics, keywords, and toggle states — are saved with Chrome's local storage API on your own device. They are used only to decide what to hide on the pages you visit.

What's not stored

• Your watch history or search history
• Your Google account details
• Browsing activity on any site other than YouTube
• Anything sent to a remote server, because none is used

Permissions

The extension requests access to youtube.com so it can read and hide elements on the page. That access is not used for anything else.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension deletes its stored settings along with it.
